evening of 16th day

a pretty good day in the old head space……and yes I did weigh myself then promptly fainted, but all in all a wonderful last day for 2012 😉

break the fast….2 toast with fresh tomatoe slices/coffee
munch the lunch…..1 toast with 2 poached eggs
snack….. apple and banana
eat the tea…..lentils with onions/garlic/tomatoe/ and a small salad

mental note need to stock up on fresh veg and fruit, my sugar policewoman talked me into making my own muesli….cereal really leaves me cold, especially in the mornings…have never been a cereal kinda gal at all, but in the “old days” when I was bringing up my 3 wonderful children on the farm, I used to make alot of homemade things like muesli, and added kelp to meals [thanks to my ex mother in law, she was a gem], also baked bread, made cottage cheese [when we were milking cows], had a vegy patch [which was the delight of our sheep] aghhh
how many times did I run out there waving the broom like some old farmers wife lol….. hey I was and loved it!!!
but back to the dreaded “muesli”  aka as horse chaff lol…yes I will buy oats/nuts/driedfruit etc and also my SP told me that the Chai seed is a wonderful super seed, so that will be added to my de-lish muesli mix
check out the below site for info on Chai

Love the pic – loved the food today – especially the poached eggs! Brilliant – yes I’m not a breakfast girl either. In fact I usually skip which we are told is bad bad bad! Pfft I make up for it at dinner time. Lunch is usually tuna, or just fruit. IF I have breakfast I will be the lowest carb – lowest sugar cereal possibly (that doesn’t taste like chaff) and mix it with dried fruit and nuts and yes Chai or linseed oh there’s so many to choose from! I am glad you are feeling fantastically pep and fearless for the future. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 🙂 🙂
