Thursday days 25 and 26

Hot up the mountain at the moment…but you know nothing to complain about considering how half the country seems to be burning!!!  I do feel for people caught up in this crazy heat wave/fires…it would a devastating thing to experience.

A couple of friends have gone through that experience and told me it was horrifying……so nothing to complain about here!!
Thats the trouble these days we [society] seems to have very negative and selfish ideas….it all seems to be about “me” [them]….  people need to look at the bigger picture and realise that what they are moaning about is nothing compared to what others may be going through or suffering with. We can tend to get wrapped up in our own  piece of the world and forget there is a lot more going on outside of their wee small box!

…have had another 2 good days, it’s getting easier and easier changing my food habits, I haven’t felt in the past 26 days that I have been deprived/ on a diet/ missing something etc etc…….my mind set must be slowly coming around, even coffee and tea are ok without the sugar to sweeten them, I have stopped baking of course much to GM’s disgust lol….no more short bread for the man of my life lol…………well I might do some for him later when I am more concrete in my mind, though in saying that I really have never had a sweet tooth, more of a savoury girl!!….mmmmm pies/pastries/piza/chips/burgers  🙂

 

breakfast…small bowl muesli/coffee

snack…rice crackers/banana

lunch…prawn salad [check out recipes]….very yummy though I did replaced avocado’s with chickpeas and sprouts

snack….coffee with my sugar policewoman 😉

dinner…grilled pork/no fat/small potatoe/fresh beans

snack…will probably have another small bowl of newly made up muesli   [threw in dried apple, more cranberries and apricots this week]

    I am so so proud of you..has it REALLY been 26 days already??? Yes the longer you continue- the more you will know what is right for you. Allow yourself a pleasure now and then – for if you don’t when you do allow you will binge – wonderful day’s food. mwaahhhh 🙂

    you go girl! I am having a hard time readjusting after my holiday indulgences. No more cookies and donuts.. sigh sooo hard
