…breakfast, sewing and apple cider vinegar

…….good morning world, its another beautiful day up here on the mountain, tho in saying that the past week has conjured up storms and hail. Well it is “storm” season so its what you expect, and I have to mention that I love watching lightening, and… and we needed the water for our tank….so we will take what mother natures throws at us!! Being on tank water is all fine and dandy, but not so good when the tanks half full and no sign of immediate rain. 😦

We had to buy in water last year, so we were hoping it wasn’t going to be “de ja vie”…hmmm is that really the spelling?!?!? maybe not lol

Today is sunny/cloudy with predicted storm this “arvo” ….. [love that word] and now that the tanks is on its way to the top, another few days of wet would be welcomed!

posted a pic of one of my fav breakfasts below, home made gluten free bread, camembert cheese, and fresh tomatoes from the local market….soooooooo yumm!!!  😉

my next fav would be avocado and tomatoe

So, I have started drinking Apple Cider Vinegar again, I put a splash in my tall glass[1-2 tsps] and throw in some ice [on a hot day] and top up with filtered water. I have been guzzling that everyday for the past week…… today I added a teaspoon of my “magic cure all” garlic honey.

Really easy to do, just use a organic or really pure honey, I am using a White Box honey at the moment, pop into a jar [mine is smallish] and slice up a fresh garlic bulb……it just sits in the honey oozing all its natural healing properties into the golden syrup. I have a couple of teaspoons a day and finally got rid of my ridiculous wee nagging cough!!

ok wee pause……grilled chicken with lime and chilli rub, and sweet potatoes/onions and celery splashed with olive oil calling from the oven “LUNCH TIME”  be back soon 🙂

sorry no time for a photo too busy eating lol

Back and it was delish……its funny but since we have omitted most refined sugars and any pre-packaged foods, breads, rice noodles and potatoes from our diet, I am sure fresh foods are tasting more succulent, with sharper tastes.  Salt intake will have gone down too, as they laden sugars and salts in processed foods these days, hence my high blood pressure is stabilizing…yahooooo!!!

So….sewing, something I have really never has a ‘passion” for, but have always had a love of crafty things…anyhow I have decided to set up a small home based business and sew some wide leg pants for bigger chick’s like myself.

Hence the title “BIGGIRLSPANTS”….aka pants on the mountain lol

sew…… lol I am not the most motivated person alive on this dear wee planet, but I need to channel energy, need to focus, need to craft, need to create, need to be more motivated in my dear wee life!! 🙂
